The Original Country Getaway
Wainscott is definitely an understated hamlet. With only seven ocean-front parcels, exclusivity is a key feature to this part of town. Original 1700’s farmhouses and farm fields scatter the hamlet with modest to not so modest houses. The Georgica Association, a seaside colony on Georgica Pond and the Atlantic Ocean, make up for a large section of the hamlet. Only a few houses touch the pond, and access is granted to those who belong to the association. Wainscott’s forever farm field vistas make it a quintessential country destination.
